Mentorship Content
Learn to design your own ROS based robots using Industrial Grade CAD Software and convert it into URDF which can be later used in ROS simulation.
Learn to develop your very own ROS package with basic concepts of ROS like Nodes, Topics, Publisher, Subscriber, Launch files and Bag files.
Simulate your own-designed robot in your own-designed environments along with localization, mapping and navigation algorithms.
TL;DR
ROS Mentorship Program is 2-month long training program for Engineering Students and Working Professional
who wishes to learn ROS right from scratch and excel in the field of Robotics.
In these 2 months, Mentees will be trained by Industrial Mentors in a batch of just 5 students.
Giving enough time & attention to each learner which helps them clear their doubts, ask course relevant general questions to the Mentor
as well as disucss about their projects and get guidance from the mentor on the same.
The course content is pretty generalized, so even a beginner feels comfortable grasping it and at the same time, as the batches are in small size, an intermediate level person will also get proper attention and challenging questions to keep their brain gears turning…

If you have a will to learn something industry-relevant & pivot your career towards the future and are ready to dedicate around 3-4 hours a week to up skill yourself, then this is absolutely suitable for you.
Yes absolutely. Whether you are aiming for further studies, looking for a job/internship or just want to make a name for yourself in the field of robotics, then it’s an absolute perfect program for you.
The program is overall for 2 months in which you have to attend 3 sessions every week of 1-1.5 hours each.
All the sessions in the course of 2 months are conducted LIVE by the mentor giving an open platform for rectifying doubts and clarifying concepts.
The program is conducted in a batch of five people. This gives you close enough environment to clear doubts and big enough teams to collaborate on projects.
Yes sure! The batch is made of just 5 students. So you can bring in your friends/colleagues/teammates to the program so that your batch dynamics match perfectly.
We will be learning ROS Melodic as it is the most stable version of ROS currently with a wide variety of available packages. Also we want you to work in industry as soon as you are graduated from the program, and ROS Melodic is something that is used currently in industry as ROS2 is majorly in its development stage.
You just need 3 things to get started with the ROS Mentorship Program –
Yes sure. The mentorship program includes basic teaching of python coding which is required for ROS programming. Other than that, you don’t need anything else. You can explore coding later if that interests you. We are here to show you the right way.
